Why it is important to have an appealing and effective company logo and the elements that go into creating one?
A logo is often the first opportunity a company has to make an impression. It is present on almost every piece of advertising, from business cards and letterhead to promotional coffee mugs. Many small businesses make the mistake of underestimating the importance of a company logo.
The most important thing that a logo says about your company is that you are a real company. All of the big companies have a logo; if you are in business you should have one as well. A lot of smaller companies view a logo as being an expense that they can avoid but this is a mistake. Having a logo tells people that you are serious business and that will make them a lot more comfortable doing business with you. If you are a small business a logo will make you look bigger than you are.
When we design a logo, our graphic designers try to present your company’s values visually. Be prepared to discuss your company’s values, as this will help us develop your logo. Once the designer has a good idea of the image you hope to portray, we will use fonts, color, placement, size, pictures, and design motifs to convey this to your customers.
You need a logo for your business. Really. You need one. You want it to be professional, striking, and memorable. You probably shouldn’t do it yourself. That’s tip #1. You probably don’t need to pay some ad agency five figures to do it, either. That’s tip #2. It does require thought though, and someone that can help you get to the core of what your business is all about, and help you translate that into a memorable mark.

Are you being scammed and don’t know it? Does your digital social media company actually do search engine optimisation?
‘How will I know?’
The first thing anyone should be able to do is go straight into google and type in the search bar for your business. If your business comes up in the first two pages then it’s all good. If not, then you could possibly be having cash taken from you for nothing!
Think about this: If you type what you search for on google or yahoo and hit enter, you see things that relate to what you have searched for. Do you go scrolling to page 99 before page 1 and 2? Not many people do. If you have ever wondered why some of these websites rank better than the others then you must know that it is because of a powerful web marketing technique called Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
Search engines are not like us humans at all, they read things differently. So if all you do is write in text and don’t tell the search engine what your website is about by using codes then your website will most probably be veering towards that horrid 99 page. I’m not trying to scare you or put you off in any way, I am just trying to explain things a little simpler for those that haven’t got square eyes like me.
“I can understand if you don’t understand, but what I don’t understand is people and companies stating that they do these things for their clients, taking their money and not doing anything!!!!”. Founder Of LT Vast Media
Rest assured we do SEO and we provide visible proof for you to see each month with graphs and charts that you can understand. If you don’t understand anything then we are just a text or call away to explain everything for you a little simpler. We don’t want you to feel bamboozled with all of these words you haven’t heard before. Give us a call if you would like a free consultation, or drop us an email:
I look forward to speaking to you soon!

LT Vast Media
Ok, so here we are again going through a lot of other digital media sites and I’m not liking what I see. Overpriced companies and they don’t exactly do enough for the prices they are asking businesses for.
I have not seen anyone beat our prices yet by a long shot and for the amount of things we do for that price is clearly unbeatable when it comes to the ‘digital social media’ world. I will give you a little list of some of the things that we do for our clients:
•Klout Score managing
We start up all of these social networks and maintain/update them for your business and a whole load more including 2 weeks free start up.
•Submission of websites to servers and webpages
•Submission of websites to search engines
•Search engine optimisation (SEO)
•Press release submissions
Did I mention we also do photography for your business? No? Damn! Well I may as well throw that in free with anything you purchase from us.
So before you have to sign anything we give you a free consultation, 2 weeks free start-up and free photo’s of your business for your website.
We also make sure that we work closely with our clients and make sure that they are happy with everything we do. You can text, call and email any time of the day and we are always there to help.
Once a month we send through a report of what we have done, Analytics of your website/social networking sites also. There is no point in just saying “we did this, and we have done that”, we back up everything we do with solid, visual evidence.
So, why two weeks free?
Well, we feel that trust is one of the most important things when it comes to business. The level of trust in business relationships—whether external, e.g. in sales or advisory roles, or internal, e.g. in a services function—is a greater determinant of success than anything else, including content excellence.

No catches! (I hate catches and small print, it makes your eyes squint and is extremely laborious).
It is hard to not continue flogging the same old story about social media marketing. It’s all well and good citing the examples of Dell, Coca-Cola and Starbucks, but these are multi-billion dollar corporations with millions of dedicated existing customers.
Yes, they’ve done well to utilise that head-start, but what good is this story to a small or medium sized local business? That’s why we are here!
Please don’t feel intimidated by certain words that you may not know yet, they can be explained and shown to you. We deal with all of the complicated stuff, so you can concentrate on what means most to you! Your business!

When it comes to social media, there are many small businesses that believe that their customers are not active on social media platforms (which is not true by the way) and therefore they do not see the value of social media marketing efforts or the relationship-building opportunities.
On the other hand, we have big brands that are actively engaging on social media platforms, but they are taking the “social” part out of the equation. Specifically, big brands are pouring tons of money into social media, but are failing to see the desired results because they are not engaging in conversations with their followers and they are not utilizing social media platforms to connect with the friends of their fans.
Therefore, there is a social media dilemma. We have small businesses who believe that social media is not worth their time, energy, and other resources and we have big brands who are pouring millions into social media but are not effectively utilizing the power of influence (specifically how friends influence their friends).
Social Media Matters for Small Businesses
If you are a small business owner who thinks that your customers are not on social media platforms, then it is time to do a true market analysis and find out who your target audience is and on which social media platforms they engage the most. Your target audience is on social media—the key is finding out which platforms they use the most and making your business social on those platforms.
The sad fact is, there are many small business owners who truly believe in the power of social media but simply are not utilizing social media platforms to their full potential. If you are a small business owner who is not actively engaging effectively on social media, then it is time to start—social media can play a major role in business success if you utilize it effectively.
Hiring a professional to manage your social media engagements and work with you to build your company’s brand and customer interactions on these platforms can go a long way in increasing your bottom line and customer loyalty.
Putting the “Social” Back in Social Media for Big Brands
On the other hand, big brands have to start putting the social aspect back into the equation, fully utilizing the power of influence.
Big brands seem to understand the importance of social media, which is why they pour millions of dollars/pounds into social media efforts. However, big brands need to remember that the power of influence lies in encouraging your fans to reach out to their friends. Friends are powerful influencers; therefore, when you encourage your fans to bring their friends onboard, you are maximizing your social media influence.
Similarly, big brands often forget the importance of community. For example, Google + has communities and LinkedIn has groups. Involvement in these groups and participating in conversation (listening first, talking second) can go a long way in improving your social media results.
In conclusion, social media is absolutely pertinent for all businesses—from small at home businesses to big brands. The goal is understanding the importance of social media, investing resources into social media engagements, and remembering the social aspect of the equation.
